Terms of Service

By adding or using Rewynd ("the bot", "the service"), you agree to these terms.

1. The service

Rewynd records short voice-channel audio for instant replays and provides soundboard and text-to-speech features.

2. Acceptable use

You may use Rewynd for personal, community, educational, or commercial purposes, provided you comply with all applicable laws and Discord's Terms of Service. You may not use Rewynd to:

• Record people without consent where consent is legally required;
• Harass, stalk, defame, exploit, or invade the privacy of others;
• Infringe intellectual-property rights;
• Abuse, overload, reverse-engineer, or disrupt the service.

3. Your responsibilities (recording & consent)

You are solely responsible for the legality, content, and use of any audio you capture, save, or distribute with Rewynd, and for obtaining any consent required in your jurisdiction. We do not monitor content and are not a party to your recordings.

4. User content, moderation & reporting

• Soundboard uploads are user content. Whoever uploads or saves a sound is solely responsible for it, and confirms they have the right to use that audio and that it breaks no law or third-party right.
• We do not pre-screen or monitor uploads and are not responsible for user-uploaded content. We record which account uploaded each sound.
• Reporting: anyone can flag a sound with /report. We may remove any content and suspend or ban users at our sole discretion, with or without notice, including on report or legal request. Server admins can remove sounds in their own server anytime.

5. Ownership

You retain ownership of audio you create with Rewynd. We claim no rights to your content and do not store clips after delivering them to your Discord channel.

6. Subscriptions

Rewynd is currently free. If paid features are offered in the future, they will be billed through Discord's monetization system, with refunds and billing governed by Discord. Features and limits may change over time.

7. Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uptime, audio quality, retention, or that the service will be error-free. Download anything you want to keep promptly.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for data loss, service errors, or misuse of recordings.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the service at any time, with or without cause or notice, including for violations of these terms.

10. Changes

We may update these terms; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
